Terms & Conditions

Welcome to uniqueflooringsupply.co.uk. These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made from UNIQUE FLOORING SUPPLY LIMITED (Company Number: 8386307). By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.

1) Orders & Contract

• All orders are subject to acceptance and stock availability.
• A contract is formed only when we dispatch your goods and send a confirmation email.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of:
  • Product unavailability
  • Errors in pricing or product description
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Failure of payment authorisation

2) Pricing & Payment

• All prices are in GBP (£) and do not include VAT. VAT is added at checkout where applicable.
• We reserve the right to amend prices without notice. If a pricing error occurs, we will contact you before dispatch.
• Payment must be received in full prior to dispatch.
• Ownership of goods remains with UNIQUE FLOORING SUPPLY LIMITED until full payment is received.

3) Delivery

• Delivery details are outlined in our Delivery & Returns policy.
• We make every effort to deliver within estimated timeframes but cannot be held liable for delays outside our control (courier delays, weather conditions, etc.).
• Risk of damage or loss passes to the customer once delivery is completed.
• Customers must ensure someone is available to accept and check the delivery.

4) Returns & Cancellations (Consumers)

• You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations).
• Goods must be returned:
  • Unused
  • In original packaging
  • In a resaleable condition
• Exclusions – the following cannot be returned unless faulty:
  • Custom-mixed or tinted products
  • Opened or used liquids, oils, lacquers, or fillers (for health & safety reasons)
  • Cut-to-size abrasives
  • Special-order or non-stock items
• Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless goods are faulty or sent in error.
• We may deduct reasonable amounts for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is acceptable in a retail environment.

5) Returns (Business Customers)

• Business-to-business sales are not covered by consumer cancellation rights.
• Returns from business customers are accepted at our discretion and may be subject to restocking fees.
• Special-order or customised items cannot be returned unless faulty.

6) Faulty or Damaged Goods

• Any faulty, damaged, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, including photographic evidence.
• Faulty goods will be repaired, replaced, or refunded in accordance with statutory rights.
• We are not responsible for damage caused by:
  • Misuse or neglect
  • Failure to follow product instructions
  • Normal wear and tear

7) Warranties & Limitations of Liability

• Machines and electrical items are covered by manufacturer warranties. Claims may require contacting the manufacturer or approved service centres.
• We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses including:
  • Lost labour costs
  • Missed project deadlines
  • Third-party damages
• Our maximum liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied.

8) Website Use & Intellectual Property

• All website content (images, text, product descriptions, graphics, logos) is the property of UNIQUE FLOORING SUPPLY LIMITED or its licensors.
• Content cannot be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
• You must not introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code.

9) Trade Accounts

• We do not offer Trade Accounts.
• All purchases are processed as standard retail/business transactions.

10) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
• Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
