At Unique Flooring Supply we understand that timing and reliability are critical on flooring projects. This page explains, in clear detail, how our delivery and returns work for all orders placed on uniqueflooringsupply.co.uk. 1) Delivery at a Glance

  • Same-Day Dispatch: Orders placed before 12 noon (Mon–Fri) are dispatched the same day.
  • Next Working Day Delivery: Most UK mainland orders arrive next working day (see details below).
  • Local Same-Day Delivery: Available to selected postcodes; email us to check availability.
  • Delivery Charges: Calculated at checkout by weight, size and destination.
  • Tracking: We’ll email tracking details once your order has shipped.
  • Returns: Unused items can be returned within 14 days (see section 7).

2) Order Processing & Cut-Off Times

  • Order verification: All orders are checked for stock and payment confirmation.
  • Cut-off: Orders before 12:00 noon (Mon–Fri) are processed the same day; later orders the next working day.
  • Exclusions: Weekends and Bank Holidays are not working days.

3) Delivery Options & Timeframes

  • Standard UK Mainland: Usually 1 working day after dispatch; remote areas 2–5 days.
  • Pallet Deliveries: Required for heavy machines; kerbside delivery as standard.
  • Local Same-Day Delivery: Subject to postcode and stock availability. Contact us for details.
  • Timed Services: AM or pre-12 options available at extra cost.

4) Delivery Charges & Surcharges

Charges are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination. Hazardous goods (such as solvent-based finishes) may incur extra fees. Multiple boxes may be shipped separately at no extra cost to speed up delivery.

5) Packaging & Hazardous Goods

  • All products are packed securely to prevent transit damage.
  • Liquids are shipped in sealed, leak-proof containers.
  • Hazardous goods are shipped under ADR-compliant regulations.
  • No delivery to PO Boxes. Offshore deliveries may have restrictions.

6) Receiving Your Delivery

  • Please ensure an adult is available to receive and inspect the goods.
  • If packaging is damaged, note this on the driver’s paperwork and take photos.
  • Missed deliveries may incur redelivery charges if returned to us.

7) Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations (Consumers)

  • Cooling-off period: Cancel within 14 days of receipt.
  • Condition: Goods must be unused, in original packaging, and resaleable.
  • Excluded: Custom/tinted colours, made-to-order products, opened liquids or hazardous goods.
  • Return costs: Consumers cover return shipping unless faulty.
  • Refunds: Processed within 14 days of receipt, to the original payment method.

8) Returns (Trade & Business Customers)

  • Accepted at our discretion only.
  • Goods must be unused, complete and resaleable.
  • A restocking fee may apply.

9) Damaged, Short or Faulty Items

  • Report damage or shortages within 48 hours with photos.
  • Incorrect items: notify us within 7 days for replacement.
  • Faulty items: serial numbers or inspections may be required before refund/replacement.

10) Liability & Delays

We cannot accept liability for indirect losses caused by late delivery. Please allow sufficient time when scheduling contractors or works.

11) How to Start a Return

  1. Email info@uniqueflooringsupply.co.uk with order number and reason.
  2. Wait for confirmation and return reference.
  3. Pack securely and include all accessories/manuals.
  4. Use a tracked courier service and keep proof of postage.
  5. Refund/exchange will be processed after inspection.

12) Helpful Tips (Floor-Sanding Products)

  • Liquids/Finishes: Store upright; never ship open containers.
  • Abrasives: Keep flat and sealed; return unused packs intact.
  • Machines: Remove dust bags before transport; palletise where required.
