Returns & Exchanges
We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase from Unique Flooring Supply. This policy explains when and how you can return or exchange products purchased via uniqueflooringsupply.co.uk. Please read carefully, as it contains important information about your rights and our obligations.
1) Consumer Returns (Cooling-Off Period)
- Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you may cancel your order within 14 days from the day you receive your goods.
- Once you notify us, you have another 14 days to return the items.
- All goods must be returned:
- Unused
- In original packaging
- In resaleable condition
- You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the goods are faulty or incorrect.
2) Excluded Items
The following items cannot be returned unless faulty or damaged:
- Opened or used consumables (oils, lacquers, waxes, fillers, primers).
- Custom-tinted or colour-matched finishes.
- Cut-to-size abrasives or customised products.
- Special-order or non-stock items.
3) Exchanges
- If you ordered the wrong grit, size, or variant, we are happy to arrange an exchange, subject to stock availability.
- The item must be returned in unused and resaleable condition.
- You will be responsible for return postage; we cover the cost of sending out the replacement product once approved.
4) Damaged, Incorrect, or Faulty Goods
- If goods arrive damaged or incorrect, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order number.
- Faulty goods within warranty will be repaired, replaced, or refunded depending on the product and circumstances.
- Please keep all original packaging until your claim is resolved, as this may be required by the courier or manufacturer.
5) Returns Procedure
- Email info@uniqueflooringsupply.co.uk with your order number, details of the product(s) to be returned, and the reason for return.
- We will confirm eligibility and provide you with a Return Authorisation and the correct return address.
- Pack the goods securely, ideally in the original packaging.
- Send the items back using a tracked, insured courier service and keep proof of postage.
- Once received and inspected, we will process your refund or exchange within 14 days.
6) Trade & Business Customers
- Trade and business-to-business orders are not covered by consumer cancellation rights.
- Returns may be accepted at our discretion only and may be subject to a restocking charge (typically 15–25%).
- Custom, tinted, or special-order products are strictly non-returnable unless faulty.
7) Refunds
- Refunds are made to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- We reserve the right to make reasonable deductions for:
- Any diminished value caused by handling beyond what is reasonable in a retail environment.
- Missing parts, manuals, or accessories.
- Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned items or proof of postage.
8) Important Notes
- Please do not return items without contacting us first, as this may delay processing.
- We cannot be held responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit; please use a reliable courier.
- We recommend retaining proof of postage and tracking details until your refund or exchange has been completed.
